blinds 15/30 and I'm in the big blind....this one guy goes all-in for only 80 and two callers (female). I push with pocket 10's for 390 on top of the 80. The first girl that called the 80 was thinking and thinking and thinking, saying to herself that she can't fold this hand. After a while she called my 390 leaving herself with 25 in chips and the other girl called instantly for about 100 more (all-in). the first girl that spent all that time thinking about whether call or fold flips over KJ offsuit. the other girl had Ace rag....pot being about 1000 go figure the original all-in bettor only had Ace rag as well. board shows 992 8 K. I mean if you really have to think that long and hard for 98% of your chips on KJ offsuit... I welcome it. Not recommended though. But, what can you say, its Riverchasers. People don't care, i'm pretty sure that if they put up their own money on the line, they would play alot different. and not risk pretty much your whole stack on KJ offsuit. You probably noticed that I pointed out that the two callers were female. What I've noticed in my years of playing poker for real and in riverchasers is that many the female players in riverchasers don't know what exactly a good hand is (you know who you are!). There are only a handful of female players that I respect. The way I was taught was that whatever you do in life, always try to be the best at it. I mean these people are taking time out of their day to drive to these venues spend a couple of hours (or sometimes a couple of minutes) playing cards for what?, to get sucked out by some beginner that has no idea how to play cards. But, what can I say, its riverchasers. I can't expect much from a free game.

Hahaha!! Not sure what to tell you. If you're so good, go to AC where you will never find anyone who is bad at poker.
What venues do you play?? |

I don't even know how to respond to this posting. I am typically a positive person and don't rant and rave about too much, but I think your post is uncalled for in terms of the way you perceive women players. I think there are equally poor poker players on each side and perhaps the fact that there are less females out there playing poor female poker players stick out more. So I will chalk your post up to complete ignorance.
I know many women poker players who play RC who are great players (Carole, Leslie, Haley, Heather, Christine, Evy, etc, etc, etc, etc) and could and have mopped the floor with the best male poker players RC has to offer as well as in AC and Vegas, cashing big. It's unfortunate that your ignorance doesn't allow you to see that. |

| As long as the house is clean, laundry is done and all the dishes have been dryed and put away, I see no conceivable reason why broads shouldn't be allowed (by their better half) to play at least once a week. Granted, they must serve us drinks while there, regardless of their position at the table. I'm easy to get along with. |

| Oh, that's a given regardless if poker is involved or not. Hell, she damn well better be sure that dinner is cooked and served before she even THINKS about stopping for a second and tying that shoelace or armor- all'ing the tires on my truck that she just washed. |

Ok Climb a Tree, you should hitch a ride with your first cousin Monkey Man and head on down to AC. He will teach you how to dodge all these bad beats with the premium hand of pocket 10's. (They are premium aren't they?)

In the long run if you go all-in with the best hand ,I guarantee you will come out winning at least 65% of the time .
Whether you are playing for 12 million dollars or for free at Riverchasers venues If you play the same way you will be a winner.
Most important when sit down at a poker table in tournament or cash games, You know you are the best player! |

I agree with your coment that there are allot of great woman players out there.
But as for your coment can mop the floor with any male poker player at Riverchasers,
I beg to differ it takes a very long time and allot of playing all types of poker to become
a great player , and over the years I been playing I played against allot of great players
and held my own in every game I have played in especially 7 card stud , and limit hold-em
Although I am a pretty good no limit player as well Oh and by the way You may of played
against me at one of Riverchasers venue .
Yours truely,
John |

I've taken worse bad beats then that. And from mostly male players who watch to much tv. Most of the female players I know are very exceptional players. |

| Its your own damn fault for pushing with pkt 10s. If you call and see the flop then push you win. Blaming women for not knowing how to play is hilarious because your pkt 10's is not a premium hand with several players behind you. Pocket pairs are over rated unless your playing heads up. |

| Oh and people that are calling all-ins often have pairs of their own or at least some overcards so you will likely be in a race with your 10's....which isn't a premium hand. How long did you say you've been playing? My wife would tear you up....... |
