Seven Days, Seven events.  Where would I play? 

My list is based on my enjoyment of better beer and the comfort I feel once I'm within the venue... that could be because of the chairs, or the atmosphere, or the quality of players I've encountered.

Monday - Triumph Brewery.  Great beer, real fun crowd of players. 
Tuesday - Stephanie's Lounge.  Great beer selection, unique atmosphere.
Wednesday - Walsh's Tavern.  First venue I ever sold, interesting variety of players.
Thursday - Pepper's.  No explination necessary.
Friday - Limerick Inn.  One of the first venues I ever hosted, we have a history.
Saturday - Finn McCool's early / Pizza Pub late.  Love a double header, a full day of drinking and the best Mini Tournament to be found in the late game.
Sunday - Champ's.  After a day of golf at Center Square.. what else could be a better?

Ok, so I lied... seven days, eight events.  But who can pass up a fun doubleheader like that?

A honorable mention goes out to Wednesday night's game at B.Maxwell's.  If they were still around, it would definitely be my Wed. spot.  Great beer, great employees, an enjoyable crowd, and considering I've had back to back wins there before... something just felt right about that place.  Hope to have ya guys back. 

Well, we're not quite the pilgrims, but we're definitely shaping things to come.  No matter how large or how small.  It's happened already just with the existance of the first RPT freeroll... bringing people together from all walks of life to simply sit and enjoy an afternoon or evening playing something different.  Different for some who have never played Texas Hold'em... not for others who have been playing long before the Moneymaker was Moneymaker.  From newbies to veterans, it didn't matter.  

After the first month of existence, the word was out that school was in.  The business plan was far from perfect, but it had the right direction.  Making a 2 year story pretty short, the only thing that RPT lacked is some luck.  Right when things were exactly where they needed to be, The Unlawful Internet Gambling Act took a chunk of life out of the flourishing business.  Following a recent unlucky bout of employee choices, things just keep on rolling. 

New regions are opening up within a month and we'll be filling out existing regions with either newly expanded areas or replacement games for the natural attrition. 

I'm glad to have been a part of the growth so far and I'll be happily pushing the company forward with new ideas for tournaments, rewards for our players, and the opportunity to make something incredible.  Welcome to the New World, I'm glad to be a part of it.
