Check back regularly as a location may decide to host a promotional special event tournament. These tournaments would typically require a player  to participate at that specific venue for a number of consecutive weeks. Players are rewarded for participating during a qualification period, or the location may simply offer a one-night-only promotion. 

• If the promotion has a qualifying period, prizes may be awarded to the top players at the end of the qualifying period. Top players may also be invited back to participate in a Final event to play for the prizes.
• In some cases top players may also receive an entry into an Invitational Tournament in which any player may attend and players who participated during the qualifying period could receive a bonus for being loyal players.

The value of the prizes that are awarded at these special tournaments is typically greater than the prizes awarded at a typical game.
