2023 Hammer Tournament
The 2023 installment of the annual Hammer Tournament is coming soon, this time with a little modification and a HUGE BONUS PRIZE.
In May of this year, the Poker world lost one it’s iconic faces, Doyle Brunson. In honor of his contribution to the community, we are modifying our Hammer Tournament to instead reward our largest single Bonus Prize in our Hammer Tournament history for the infamous 10-2 poker hand. Players at the tournament will receive the full details on eligibility and the cash bonus for this prize.
What is the Hammer?
The Hammer Tournament is a social poker event hosted at the illustrious Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event is catered towards players of social poker leagues in the area, but is open to the public. In order to properly host this event, it is by invitation-only, and YOU ARE INVITED!
To lock in your seat, you have to pre-register for the tournament using our online registration and payment portal prior to the registration deadline of JULY 26th.
Players will be competing for an estimated $20,000-$25,000 in cash and prizes, including Tournament Prizes, Souvenirs, Bonus Prizes, and Bar Poker Open Seats and Full Travel Packages to the upcoming World Championship in Florida (Nov 2023).

Optional Bonus : $20 - Receive TWO Bonus Chip Cards for either a 15k Re-entry or a 25k Add-on. See details below.

Tournament Structure
Tournament check-in begins 9:00am on August 12th.
Players required to have a valid, government issued photo ID and a Borgata/MGM players card. Players card can be obtained on property the day of the event.
Tournament begins at 11:00am.
Late entry permitted until 12:30pm.
Player souvenir provided at check-in.
Starting Stack: 15k tournament chips
20 minute tournament levels
Rebuy / Add-on Card details.
Re-entry: Receive 15k in chips if you use this card any time prior to the first break. Must be at or below 15k in chips, and not involved in a hand. You may use one or both of your cards prior to the first break.
Add-on: Receive 25k in chips if you use this card during the first break, regardless of how many chips you have. You may use both of your cards during the first break.
Redeeming your Bonus Cards are the player’s responsibility. All cards must be used by the end of the first break.

Poker Tournament is hosted by Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Tournament rules are guided by the TDA and the NJ Gaming Commission. Borgata tournament staff has final say in all tournament rules and are without recourse.
