As the covid19 restrictions are being lifted in our area, we are working hard on communicating with our venues (current and new) to rebuild the live league schedule. While we are doing that, we are still running 100% online with the Bar Poker Open “Bar League PRO” membership league. BPO Online offers everyone a chance to earn BPO tokens, win Cash Prizes, and qualify for National Championships every single day!
For less than $1/day, a Bar League PRO membership is an incredible value and provides you an opportunity unlike any other in our 16 year history. It’s the best thing to come out of the pandemic! RE-LAUNCHING VENUES. Please understand that currently not all our venues are interested or able to spend money on live entertainment. The pandemic hit many of our venues hard, and in some cases, they even closed their doors permanently. Some venues will be building their entertainment calendar after they get their feet wet, new staff trained, etc… As we are able to get on the entertainment calendar at our venues, we will be making a full announcement.

CRUSH CANCER IN KONA - Poker Tournament Fundraiser Results
Thank you to every one (player or not) who donated to this incredible cause. On May 22nd, we hosted the first Online Poker Tournament Fundraiser raising money for the “Team In Training” for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society. Our group raised close to $1000 in our first event.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER - MARVIN COON - Owner of Pikes Peak Poker League (Colorado)
Marvin competed in the tournament as a league owner knowing that even if he won the tournament, he would be awarding the Grand Prize Package to a player in his league. So even though he won, all of Pikes Peak Poker League is the winner as they will have an opportunity to compete for this incredible package to the world’s largest social poker championship.
Congratulations to our runner up - Ron Dierkes (Horsham PA) who won the 2nd place prize, an entry into the upcoming $50,000 BPO Online National Championship.
Congratulations to our 3rd place finisher - Evelyn Ankers (King of Prussia PA) who won the Last Man Standing prize, and donated the cash prize back to the charity! 💝💝💝 Thank you for your generosity!

The time for our combined 2020/2021 Championship is approaching. There is a LOT of information that we want to make sure is communicated to all our qualified players so please please please, it is of utmost importance that you read the full details on the Bar Poker Open Championship webpage.
The registration days and times for players who qualified in 2019/2020 are different for those who qualified in 2020/2021.
The starting date for your first flight are different depending on when you qualified.
Bar Poker Open Travel packages won thru BPO Online have very specific dates and details about the prize.
If you qualified as a SEAT WINNER or an INVITE WINNER… what is the difference?
Did you qualify in both years? Did you win multiple packages? …etc….

RIVERCHASERS HAMMER & ROCKET TOURNAMENTS
The future of these events are going to depend on our casino partners. We are excited to get back to hosting these incredible inter-league special events, but the timing of the Vegas Bar Poker Open Championship, and our other Riverchasers rescheduled events, may push the first special event off until 2022. If we can find the right date, and we can count on our incredible players to join us, then we will create this as soon as we possibly can!
FUTURE RIVERCHASERS CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS
In March 2020, just before the pandemic, Riverchasers had ended our PCT qualifying and our Satellite qualifying promotions. The PLAN, at the time, was to announce the new 2020 Riverchasers Championship event structures. Change was happening, and it was happening based on our player feedback. Then… the pandemic hit. So all changes were put on hold as we had no clue what the future was going to hold for live bar poker in the following weeks and months. And now… 15 months later… we are almost ready to announce the new Riverchasers Championship events and qualifying rules.
We had one goal in mind…. SIMPLIFY. At any given point, players were competing for at least 6 different promotions, on multiple leaderboards, with a variety of qualifying rules. It was a lot for us. It was a lot for our players.
We hope you enjoy the updates to the league as we focus on simplicity, while still awarding incredible prizes for our players.
Lastly… until we have rebuilt the live league, please also understand that championship prizes are going to reflect the current size of the live league. It should be apparent that we could not yet offer the same huge prizes running 10 events/week compared to when we were hosting 75 events/week. But don’t fret, we are building both the live league, and our potential prizes for you!
