The League Championship and Borgata Warm-Up Weekend Poker Series
The Riverchasers League Championship brings our Live League event winners and our Top Leaderboard players together each season to battle it out on the felt at the phenomenal Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa Poker Room.
This Championship event has been developed to take the best of our previous Championship structures and bring them under one event. Not only that, the Borgata is going to make this a weekend to remember!
In addition to the Riverchasers League Championship, Borgata will be hosting a creative-structure daily tournament throughout the 3-day weekend that will be open to the public and we are inviting ALL social poker players to join us for one, or all, of these unique events.
All four events will help Borgata and Riverchasers raise funds to support St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as a $10.00 donation per entry is included in the cost of the tournaments.
With our expected attendances, we hope to raise over $10,000 for the charity!

MAIN EVENT: Riverchasers - The League Championship
This event is not open to the public. Only qualified players from the Riverchasers Poker Tour are eligible to pre-register and compete.
Season 33: Qualifying Period - 1/1/23 - 4/23/23
Qualifying includes either finishing 1st place in a live league event or finishing the season in the Top 100 ranked players (once all rankings have been finalized on 4/24/23).
Event Date: Saturday, May 6th
Start Time: 11:00am
On-site check-in at Borgata for all pre-registered players will begin at 9:00am.

Pre-Registration Online is Required to cover all event costs and secure necessary staffing. See the Player Registration link below. If any player registers and their qualification status changes, we are able to make adjustments.
THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE POOL + GRAND PRIZE BONUS ADDED
For the first time ever, we are able to INCREASE the CASH PRIZE POOL based on YOUR attendance. We expect the total prize pool to range from $5,000 - $10,000 in total cash prizes. Approximately the top 10% will win cash prizes.
BONUS ADDED GRAND PRIZE (~$1,800 value) - As part of our support for St Jude and their upcoming event, Viva St. Jude, we are awarding a full package for the winner to jet off to Las Vegas from Sept 8-10, 2023 to play in The Daniel Negreanu Poker Tournament, filled with celebrities from poker, television, and sports.
Grand Prize Package includes, 3-night hotel stay at Resorts World, $400 travel comp, and entry for TWO GUESTS into both the Viva Siorée (incredible dinner, premium open bar, fashion show, live auction, & more) and The Negreanu Poker Tournament awarding a 2024 WSOP Main Event Prize Package to the winner!
QUALIFIED PLAYER PRE-REGISTRATION DETAILS
As with all tournaments hosted at our casino partner property, there is an event fee to cover the cost of the staff and the venue amenities.
Level 1 Players - includes all players who have either won a Live League event during qualifying or have finished the season in the top 100 ranked players. Level 1 Players will have two entry options.
OPTION 1: $60.00 entry fee for 15,000 tournament chips;
includes dealer fee, dealer tip, re-entry/add-on bonus, and charitable donation.
OPTION 2: $90.00 entry fee for 30,000 tournament chips;
includes dealer fee, dealer tip, re-entry/add-on bonus, and charitable donation.
Level 2 Players - includes all players who have BOTH won a Live League event during qualifying AND have finished the season in the top 100 ranked players.
$60.00 entry fee for 30,000 tournament chips;
includes dealer fee, dealer tip, re-entry/add-on bonus, and charitable donation.
The reason Level 1 players have two options is that we wanted to ensure that all players in the event have the opportunity to have an equal amount of chips, if they choose that option. The added fee will increase the Prize Pool for all players.
Level 2 players are being awarded the maximum amount of chips automatically as a reward for accomplishing this elite seasonal goal.

Top 2 advance to Round 2.

$100 Bounty per player.
Top 3 advance to Round 3.
Round 3: Multi-table event. All players are in the money.
$500 Bounty per player.

TAG-TEAM FOR ST. JUDE - $10,000 Guaranteed

$300 Entry per Team ($120+$20+$10 per player). Teammates must register at same time.
Players will alternate playing from the same chip stack.
BORGATA ALMIGHTY POKER TOURNAMENT
All these events lead into the Borgata’s ALMIGHTLY Poker Tournament, a Million Dollar Guaranteed event with multiple day 1 flights starting on Sunday May 7th, 2023. Keep an eye out for satellite events that may be available from Borgata and BetMGM Online Poker!
